Our Story
SOUFF, pronounced [SOW-FF], is wordplay and African American Vernacular English (AAVE) for South. It was birthed out of my love for southern culture and hospitality in all aspects of life. In business, SOUFF is the difference between:
-
a task rabbit and an initiator
-
a coworker who talks at you and a teammate who speaks with you
-
a contractor and a strategic partner
SOUFF brings today's best known methods to the everyday organization. During the pandemic, organizations had access to untapped talent due to remote work. Organizations were diversifying their portfolio and workforce. The macroeconomic headwinds of 2022 changed that. Organizations were forced to eliminate impactful programs and people to meet financial constraints.
SOUFF allows organizations to hire virtual project and program management resources on a contractual basis. This decreases the organization's financial bottom line and increases their team capacity during challenging times.
Our Values
-
Lead with conviction. Stand on what you believe, even if it goes against the grain. Your opinion is valid.
-
Communicate often. Data is neither good nor bad, it's just informational. Inform stakeholders sooner than later.
-
Engage diverse opinions. Confirmation bias can lead to faulty products and processes. Seek different perspectives.
-
Find the solution, not just the problem. In order to be the change you want to see, you must act.
-
Seek to understand, not to reply. Trust is built with understanding. Try to understand those around you.
