Hey!
I'm Ja'Mara Washington, the Founder of SOUFF, LLC. I'm a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over a decade of experience leading and supporting projects for non and for-profit organizations within the higher education, staffing, and technology industries.
I'm known for being a key strategist and initiator of program and process improvements for enterprise clients. Most notably, I led global and matrixed teams at Intel, Cisco, Apple and Upward Bound at Rollins College. In 2022, I was awarded a Distinguished Recognition Award by Intel for leading their security IP team through co-development with Microsoft; a first for the organization.
I hold a Masters in Business Administration from Rollins College and a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida.
My Story
At an early age I developed a passion for helping people. My nature and excellent grades in math and science led me to study health in undergrad. I assumed that was my sole path to helping people. I was wrong. I realized that was only a by-product of my passion. While getting my graduate degree in business, I realized I was passionate about innovation. that included thought patterns, business processes, and communal experiences.
My professional career became a reflection of this passion. I successfully led initiatives in various industries, job functions and locations because I became very good at helping teams innovate to reach their business goals. I became an expert at helping teams navigate chaos by putting documentation, structure, and culture around their practices. I'm honored to have founded SOUFF, a consulting practice that scales industry best practices and frameworks to the everyday organization.
When I'm not partnering with other businesses, I am buying unnecessary toys for my cat, planning a tropical vacation, or hosting a brunch filled with southern delicacies for my family and friends.
